How to Customize Your Profile

Customizing your profile will allow you to choose what information you want public or private. Take a look at all the settings and adjust them to what feels comfortable for you.

Step 1: Log into your account and click on the My Account tab.

Step 2: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Privacy & Content. A drop down menu will appear with bits of information that you can make only visible to yourself, your friends, or everyone in the community.

• Select “Me” if you do not want to share that information with anyone in the community.
• Select “My Friends” if you only want your friends to see that information.
• Select “Everyone” if you’re comfortable sharing that information with all community members.

Step 3: Customize what your community signature says by clicking Forum Preferences. Your community signature will appear under any messages and forum posts by you. Users can also use html to hyperlink words as shown in the example below.

Don’t forget to decide whether or not you want other members to see online in the community. Check the box if you do wish to be visible to other users when you’re on NursingLink.
