Your rating will be automatically registered. In fact, you can start by rating this very article that you are reading! That way I will know if it has been helpful.

You can review any of the products that you see, and you can even add products to your profile. Underneath each product there is a button that says “Add to Things I can’t Live Without.” By clicking on that button, the product becomes added to your profile. You can see from my profile that I can’t live without my Nurse Betty book purse and my Nelcor forehead pulse oximeter.

Do you have a product that you want to tell the NursingLink community about? Maybe a brand of scrubs that you love, or a medical device that you use on the job and find it to be an essential tool? You can also add your own products for review. Just click on “write a review” in the blue navigational bar and follow the steps.

Discussions

This is where much of the action on NursingLink occurs! You can start a discussion on any topic that you can think of. For instance, if you are a student, maybe you have questions about how other students are coping with their clinicals. Perhaps you are a nurse with an advanced degree and would like to find similar nurses to network with. Just start a discussion thread and people will be able to respond to your topic or question.

Hello out there. I've been receiving information from this site for sometime now and have just officially join today. I'v been thinking about becoming a nurse for a very long time. I am currently taking a Phlebotomy course and have mixed emotions about this, for many reasons. I felt like this was a second step for me to enter the medical field. I'm also a CNA, as a second job and have been a CMA in the past. So I feel fairly comfortable that this is a good path for me. I'm in the middle of changing careers and have just turned 50. Considering committing to going back to school and really doing this. Becoming a Nurse!! Any advice, comments and communication with new friends would be very welcome. Hope to hear back from someone.

Alohaa everyone! I just joined this site, and I can't wait to explore and receive advice from this site and fellow nurses. I'm in my freshman year of college as a pre-nursing major to become an RN. And I'd love some advice and stories if anyone is willing to share it. :]

Hi everyone, I just joined the site today. I have been considering getting into nursing as a career and looking for some advice/tips or anything anyone can give me. I have no medical background and my biggest reason for looking into this is because I really want a job where I can help people. Helping others really makes me happy and I have been temping (administrative) at a hospital for the last few months after just moving and it seems like something that would really be good for me both for finding something I like to do, and to secure a job in these hard times. Please msg me if you have any advice or tips!

I just joined the site today. I have been an LPN for 27 years. Have worked ER, private duty, home health, medical/oncology floor in hospital, doctors office. I never had a problem with jobs until the last two years after the hospital where I was employed decided they only wanted RN's. I am currently working a private duty case.

Hello, everyone i just joined the site today. I am very excited to be able to talk with other nurses all over the US. I have been an LPN for over 10 years this time. A very long story, have done travel nursing, hospital, LTC, Private Duty, Home Health, Ventilators, ICU, CCU, TCU, Tele, Ortho,MED SURG, not a lot i havent done. Was injured on the job back in OCT of 2008 and havent been able to work since Jan 20th 2009. Hope to go back to work within the next year if workmans comp will approve my surgery, its been a long battle. After all we all worked very hard for our nursing degree and I have always given 110 percent to my place of employment and my patients. But when something goes wrong with us where is the support from the place that we work? I have even been told that nurses are a dime a dozen. I'm sorry i dont believe that , do any of you?
