15. How would your friends describe you?
Bad answer:
"I’m a really good listener.”
While being a good listener is a great personality trait, your employer probably doesn’t care all that much. It’s unlikely that they’re hiring you to be a shoulder to cry on. You’ll want to keep your answer relevant to the job you’re interviewing for – and as specific as possible. If you can, insert an example.
Good answer:
“My friends would probably say that I’m extremely persistent – I’ve never been afraid to keep going back until I get what I want. When I worked as a program developer, recruiting keynote speakers for a major tech conference, I got one rejection after another – this was just the nature of the job. But I really wanted the big players – so I wouldn’t take no for an answer. I kept going back to them every time there was a new company on board, or some new value proposition. Eventually, many of them actually said “yes” – the program turned out to be so great that we doubled our attendees from the year before. A lot of people might have given up after the first rejection, but it’s just not in my nature. If I know something is possible, I have to keep trying until I get it.”

Re: Question 9... If I were the interviewer, why would I care about an elective course in college? What I'd be looking for would be a serious issue you initially had difficulties with but overcame through introspection. Here's how I'd answer this, "Greatest failure? While I definitely do reflect from time to time, I don't rank the challenges I have faced. A difficult situation has been the relationship with my dad. We simply just didn't get along and fought on inane topics. So when I was faced with a cross-country road trip, I called my dad and invited him along. It didn't resolve every issue, but I learned more about him and he learned something about me. This has led us to fighting less and being friends." Now this may read as personal, but it's not (mainly because I avoided how I wanted him to leave halfway). And it is true because it did strengthen my relationship with him. And it's a good answer because everyone has someone who they have a difficult time with.

The idea of "distributions" and "projects" doesn't appeal very much to me, at least if I am not sure that after installing that distribution I still have a standard Drupal installation with which i can do whatever I like. This is why I have never considered Open Publish or Tattler, at least not for flexible projects that need customization. Perhaps if I had one specific project (like an online journal) and I found a perfect distribution for my project I would use it, but not as a customizable solution for a varied community...

I like the article but I don't like your format. Why can't you just have the entire article on a page, without having to click to a new page every few sentences. This makes it twice as long to read the article. I really want to know the information, but get irritated having to click tens of times to get throught the article.
