Well that's it I made my mind up to finally go back to school at the age of 27 to become a RN. I'm already part of the medical field I went to school for certified nursing assistant but i let my certification expire to go to school for medical assistant I graduated from there now I'm a medical assistant still looking for work in Atlanta Ga. To work in the medical field is my passion It's not even about the money for me It's just something that's deep down in me for me to care for people or children who need it and I'm not going to stop until I get in there so I start school in January since I missed fall registration. But before i start I really want to be working In the medical field now so I can work and go to school. Can any one give me some suggestions please? email me at shataun00@ymail.com thank you

How do I become a "specialized" nurse? I should have my RN in 18 months and I want to be a pediatric specialty nurse. My 12 year old has Type 1 one he inspired me to help other families. I want to work outside the hospital setting and help families that are sent home to "do it on their own". I was one of those moms and I hated the loneliness... Is this something anyone has heard of or am I spinning my wheels.

ok so i did some reading on this site, btw so very helpful. Accept that Im not understanding if I have to become an lpn or just get a two year associates. I foundsome schools to attend but unless you have a lpn/lpv license you do not qualify. Please help me understand this a little better. And then I can move forward soon.
