Find Your Summer Healthcare Internship
NursingLink
Summer is the perfect time to get started on your path toward a career in healthcare, or gain more experience. An internship allows you to get real-world experience and beef-up your resume at the same time. Schools and employers value internship experience because it means you are dedicated to your career and are willing to go above-and-beyond. While most internships are unpaid, many offer college credits and a select few are paid. An internship can also lead to employment down the road, either with the company you interned with, or someone you met along the way.
Decide on a Plan of Attack
You might have a very clear plan of where you see yourself working in the future, or you may have no idea. Either way, deciding on where to intern is the most important step. If you love physical therapy and know that is what you want to do, then you are off to a great start! If you are interested in healthcare, but haven’t decided on a specialty, look for an internship that will offer a variety of experiences.
