Mistake: Repeating Your Resume Word-for-Word
They’ve already got your resume. If they want to know what college you went to or where you worked in 1998, they can find it there. Why waste valuable real estate by repeating your resume word-for-word and telling the exact same story?
Solution: The goal of your cover letter is to get the hiring manager to look at your resume. This is your chance to really give them a taste of who you are — in full sentences! Use it to tell a story, talk more about your interest in the position, or to share some insight into your personality that might not otherwise be communicated.

I hate that instead of this article being on one page you need to scroll down to read, I have to click to each section. It's a choppy and obnoxious thing to do to a perfectly good article.
