Is CSI your favorite TV show? Then forensic nursing may be your calling. This broad field includes death investigations, sexual assault victim examinations, trauma centers, or child advocacy. The common denominator is being part of law enforcement.
Sample job description: “Provide physical, forensic, and emotional evaluation of sexual assault patients without physician presence…available as needed for courtroom testimony.”

I once worked with a guy who used to be a Forensic Nurse. He said it was interesting but the pay was awful.

I sooo want to get into this field, but where can I find a program close to me that focuses on this. The one's I have found in the past only touch on the subject but don't seem to get into detail.
