A very well written list.My first choice would be nursing informatics though.Experts recently announced at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society meeting that the use of health information technology programs may improve global health.They added that information technology can help many of the challenges facing the global arena.Talking about great growth potential as a criteria!

I would love to enter the field of Insurance Nursing and wonder how to begin to work in this exciting specialityh.
Another type of nursing specialty that I would consider is #10 Managing and More: Assisted Living and Long term care.
Also #8: Faith Based Nursing : I am beginning a ministry in dealing with Chronic Illness at my church. I would appreciate tips on how to enter into these three nursing specialties.

I want to become a OR Nurse.... I am currently watching out for a Perioperative Nurse Intern position in the Philadelphia area to hopefully open up soon.... I think it will be a great opportunity for me... I love OR Nursing :)

Staci - You must become a licensed RN first - While in nursing school take any appropriate electives you can, then after graduation & licensing, you can look for work in a specialty.
