5 Top Hospitals That Will Pay for Your Education
NursingLink
Many hospitals offer some form of tuition reimbursement or loan forgiveness, but these five hospitals do that, and more. From staff development classes to on-site degree programs, these hospitals virtually pay you to go to school. If you are lucky enough to land a job at one of these prestigious hospitals, you will find not only opportunities for educational advancement, but also concierge services, employee health clubs, and on-site child care.

Probably won't happen. Though there is a 'nursing shortage' in the US, there is an even greater shortage of nursing instructors in the colleges, so admittance to nursing school is limited...that is...they will be very choosy as far as who gets admitted. If you want a hospital to pay for your tuition, it is best to be hired as some type of employee at a facility who has a 'tuition reimbursement' as a benefit of being an employee at that facility. That is, it is very unlikely for a hospital or healthcare facilty to pay 'in advance' for anyone's education in exchange for one to come work at that facilty. You would probably have to be working there first and 'earning' your employee benefits (which more than likely, will be tuition reimbursement).

I work for University of New Mexico Hospital who only provides tuition reimbursement with a very low cap;yet, those who work for the univesity side get paid tution. The university side also provides their employees with a traditional pension plan--not just a 403b. Why would a hospital that serves the indigent, poverty, and Native American community throw bread crumbs at its healthcare givers, while their university faculty and administrative staff get Rolls Royce benefits??
