5 Unique Opportunities...Just for Nurses!

Are you thinking about becoming a nurse? Maybe you are already on your way to becoming one. Or, let’s say you’ve been in the profession for years. Whatever the case may be, you may not know about all of the unique opportunities that are out there for you.

4. US Army Nurse Corps

Nurses who serve in the Army Nurse Corps have the opportunity to care of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who are fighting for our country. There are a number of opportunities to get involved, whether you want to serve full time, part-time, or just a few weeks a year. There are over 9000 Army Nurses in the Active Army, Army Reserve, or Army Reserve National Guard.

In order to get involved, you must be 21-46 years old, have a BSN or MSN degree, have a valid RN license, be a US citizen, and meet medical and moral standards as prescribed by the US Army. As an Army Nurse, you will receive specialized education and training.

On top of it all, Army Nurses may get special pay, loan repayments, and bonuses. Check out the US Army Nurse Corps website for more information.
