Correctional Nurse
Correctional Nurses provide healthcare to inmates of correctional facilities such as juvenile detention centers, halfway houses, municipal jails, and state/federal penitentiaries. In many jurisdictions, correctional nurses earn more than their hospital counterparts. FYI: You don't have to have a bsn to be part of an internship. There are many hospitals that offer them to adn graduates too! Thanks for this. it was interesting! :)

Another great resource is the Aerospace Medical Association (www.asma.org) and the "Flight Nurse Society" ... a constituent organization of the parent AsMA ... initially founded as a USAF Flight Nurse section ... it now reflects an international membership of civilian and military flight nurses.
