    I do agree with what the article mention about that everybody in the hospital started out as a student but allow me to tell you that as a nursing student, I've found out that many nurses and other health care professionals forget that they were students at some point and at times do look down on the student. What I intent to do is learn from such attitude and not to ever forget that I at some point was student.

    Okay... Step #6 is where I am. Bypassed #7 since I already am heading to Nurse-Paramedic Critical Care. I think that there should be at least three additions.. #5.1 Choose a nursing mentor #5.2 set aside a specific study time, #5.3 get involved in a study group

    i thnk i just typed my question in the wrng section.i'm a little nervous.i've taken the EMT-B course about 2 1/2-3 yrs ago and thats probably the last time i've actually studied.i've been considering a nursing career for awhile now.one because i like the elderly and working around them,and two because of the job security ,and third the money.what are the reason or reasons that you all decided to become nurses?
