I love nursing because I care about people and I care about other people feelings. Sometimes I even put other people's feelings before mine. I love learning new things and using my mind to figure out stuff. Being a nurse requires you to take challenges and to use my mind alot. I pray to God that I can become a nurse one day. I respect everyone and most of the time I recieve that same respect back. At the end of the day I'm still here and it is all thanks to GOD who gives us the most and the best LOVE we can ever receive. Thank you for reminding me about the wonderful man that put up with me 30yrs. ago while in nursing school. As I continue to adore being a nurse and am sure there would have NEVER been a better job for me, this same man continues to love and support me. Thank you again for your attention to the important things in a nurse's life.

Wow. I felt uplifted after reading the article. It's a nice one and true indeed! I never thought i'd fall in love with the job either until i did it. Unfortunately, i'm not into hospital work right now that's why i miss it so much... Thank God for NURSING!

I work with children in a behavioral hospital and they are always happy to see me, they want me called for a problem and they always want a hug! Knowing I have made a small difference in each child I touch makes me glad that I am a nurse.

I couldnt resist sharing after reading your comments....I'm not in nursing yet...but I have been a CNA and I loved it. I had to leave the profession for personal reasons and have been out of it for about 10 years. I am going to go to RN school and finally be able to fulfill my dream of being a Registered Nurse! I'm so excited and I know it is going to be a long ride. I am now in my 50's and am looking forward to being able to learn the profession I have always wanted to do. Praise the Lord for opening up the door and calling me into Missions as a nurse!

Job satisfaction. I love the feeling I get after helping patients with different challenges. I know in my heart that I make a difference in my patients. To those who are terminally ill, a hug or just holding hands speak volumes.
