Why restrict this space to the men and women who serve in Iraq. We lost many good men who served as Medics in Viet Nam who lost their lives just for wearing a Red Cross on their helmets. The North Viet Namese killed the Medic first knowing that subsequent injured men would go untreated. It was the most dangerous job to have in Viet Nam along with being a "Tunnel Rat". We also lost a nurse during that war.

I think of men and women like these heroes each time politicians waver on their position on the war and appear more like vintriloquists and first rate puppets whose career goals may risk the essence of freedom that our founders have so painstakingly set in place. I will think of them when I choose who to vote for as president. Definitely not Hillary Clinton(!)

This was so sad. It breaks my heart to see these faces. Some of them look so young. My son is in the army-preparing to graduate from a PA program Dec.14. My heart goes out to all the families. I agree, these are our heroes.
