I actually just left the community hospital as a patient, where the nurse appointed to my needs refused to believe me that NOTHING takes the place of good, proper handwashing. She continued to argue that her hand sanitizer spray thingie was just as effective as a preventive of spreading the C-diff spores. Anyone have an answer for the reason hospitals are saying that the spray is better than good 'ol scrubbing?

Not only a hospital acquired disease, may happen with long term use of antibiotics.
