I was as amazed as you, I remember hearing about this practice in other countries as well, I would never had imagined it was practiced in US and not too long ago either!

WOW Where do you find this stuff AbusyRN2go???? I am sure glad they decided not to do this in the US. I do not understand what arguments they are talking about that can be used for both the make and female alike to support the removal of the clitoral skin or the clitoris itself. You hear of this in foriegn countries for control over thier womens' sexuality, but to think they used to do this and held medical arguments about it astounds me.....
