I had to prepare my mother for one of these procedures. She had the same symptoms, chronic constipation. Since she had her procedure, she had polyps removed, and instead of coming every other year after the age of 50, she has to get her coloscopy every year.

Ok, this is really gross. I just watched a few seconds, then had to fight down the gag reflex. Good awareness raising, but .... ew!
