Hi Amy,
We are doing better. Still some tender feelings over the loss of Tela (our dog). My daughter's pregnancy is going along pretty well. Only 7 weeks left.
My niece in San Diego is also expecting about a month after my daughter and she just found out that her husband is about to deploy for 6-10 months (he'll miss the baby's birth). If she has to have help, my wife and I are discussing flying down for a few weeks after delivery to give her a hand (she also has a 9 yo autistic son and 4 yo active daughter).
So, is that big hunk in all of your pictures given you a rock yet, or still too early? The way you two are alway so close, I figured that it was about time. :-)

CONGRATULATIONS to Amy Reid, RN. Sounds cool, doesn't it. You can sign all your stuff with that now. You earned it. Good job. Speaking of which, did you find something that you like to do or are you still looking?
On the down side, yeah, we had to put down my daughters dog, but that morning, I had given her about 500 mg of Morphine plus some other goodies. She still held on until the second syringe of the stuff that is supposed to take her out of her misery (only supposed to have been one). So she was suffering from a lot of pain.
Don't want to be a drag on your celebration. Enjoy being an RN.
