Hi. I posted the Florida animal pics.
Could not find the picture of me and the panther, but once I figured out the cat's temperament, I lifted the cat's head onto my lap (I have a spinal cord stimulator and it is soothing to our house cats, so I tried it on a bigger cat. It worked :-)

The ER can be a great place to work. My only advice, if you are frazzled at the end of the day instead of pumped-up, it could be a road to burn-out. I used to come out of a busy day in the Cardiac Care Unit and was still running on adrenaline. One of my classmates was a mess and looked like she needed a couple of drinks.
Personally, I loved the ER. Worked in it for several years.

If your teachers are doing that, I would worry about that area of the program.
I heard all of the evils of community health rotation and when I got there, I had a great time. The worse problem that I had, was I had come out of the Navy as a Senior Hospital Corpsman and was not impressed with the knowledge of some of my instructors. I taught college later and was even less impressed with them.

Careful what you say. I was headed into ICU/CCU nursing out of school and somehow got routed into community health, got a Masters in Public Health and retired as a Senior Nurse Officer from the US Public Health Service.
