  Hey Marti U got me LMBO SOOOO much I am in tears & Louie my cat who was ON the couch sleeping on his place the top portion stretched there & sleep soundly, I was cracking Up So Much & getting tearful about Your Resident!! He woke up decided he was coming down to curl up push up against MY Left Shin! LOLOLOL!!!!!!! I know some of Resident they Do absolute Antics like my 1 yesterday told Me He was NOT waiting for the Rehab CNA to assist him in his Ambulation w/his walker,he told this to both his PT,CNA & Me He said that the Rehab CNA has too many to walk & its too late for her to walk him when he can walk himself not to mention he is doing it in his room & call bells R on the bed BUT God Forbid he ends up on floor hurts himself & cannot reach it........ which I told him he told me I know I know When & Not to get Up otherwise I stay In my w/c. go figure so my CNA went straight to the D.O.N prior to me.

  Hi Marti,

  You are right about my schedule it is very similar to yours. I was off this weekend also and I have to work from Monday to Thursday, off Friday work weekend, off Monday or Tuesday not sure yet. To be honest I really do not like it and I really miss my 12 hours shift. The bad thing about my place is that you have to go to another units because sometimes you have low census . I cannot go yet because I just started there, also the other day the cancelled one of the nurses and it is not fun when this happens. We are having a nice Spring and no tornadoes so far, I hope we do not have any this year. I know that the weather in the north has been awful and I hope you have a great Spring and Summer. Your place seems very busy and I understand that it bothers you that people is calling you for things that the CNA can do. In my place I do not like when I pass medications and then patients start asking for more stuff that takes more time. I work only 8 hours shift and the time goes so fast, and then I have to chart in the computer a lot of stuff. Well, I hope you have a wonderful week and take care. Keep in touch.
