No problem lunar. Sorry anyone if it seemed i was ignoring you. I unfortunately was involved in a pretty nasty car accident on friday. i am still on the mend.

Thanks for adding me, Diane! It's true, most of us will unfortunately "burn out" if we're not careful. I hate that circumstances have made you reconsider your current job. That's the great thing about nursing, though....there are so many other areas to explore. On a lighter note, I visited Lake Saranac when I was a teenager long ago! I attended a Young Life camp there and had the most wonderful time there! It's so gorgeous! I'm pleased to have made your acquaintance!

At this time in my life I am taking a break from emergency nursing. I got burned and I am a bit hurt by the Nursing profession. All in all I love what I do. I am using this opportunity to relax, regroup and think about how I could use nursing in a way that I would most enjoy myself and my patients again. When you stop loving your job or your surroundings (or it literally makes you sick) its time to move on.
