I've worked in corrections for the past 2 years & it's very diversified there... we have an infirmary w/just under 30 beds which is majority LTC. |

I am very relieved that it did not pass, the death penalty should be improved.... only allowing a decade for appeals on a case & then it would ... |

Great news. Christian John Godfrey (my new grandson) was born this morning at 6:07 am, vaginally, with the help of an epidural. The L&D nurse could have been better at the time of delivery (much, much better), but the nurses afterward made up for a lot. He was 20.5 inches and 7 lbs 13 oz.
(We are friends with director of the place [Nurse-Midwife], so that will not happen to anyone else.)
He is adorable. Quiet. Only cried when taken from our warm, cuddly arms to have a bath. My son was horsing around with him (the 32 year old bachelor uncle) and Christian suddenly had a cute little smile and he ripped a loud one and filled his diaper.
My wife and I are trying to catch-up with sleep the rest of today. Tomorrow, we have friends coming over to help clean up tomorrow, so that my daughter and family do not have to stay in the motorhome in the backyard (that's not too bad, 34' Winnebago).
Will attach pictures when I get everything transferred.
