About Me
I am a "life-time student" who from 1975 when I first started toward my RN degree and changed to Accounting, Joined the Marines from 1978-1982, have taken multiple coding/insurance courses, CNA license in 2005 after completing a BBA in Healthcare Management online in 2004, finished my LPN degree in 2007. Now working on Nursing Home Administrator License. While doing this, I raised 2 wonderful children now 23 and soon to be 26. My 26 yr old completed her Bachelor's in Graphic Arts last May. My 23 year old son is trying to figure out what to do for a career but enjoys his job at a muffler factory. Been divorced since 1990 so this has been a struggle but as my kids say, I am determined and a go-getter. As far as cooking, not much time for that since I work nights and my son works days. Life is full of challenges but that's what makes it go around. Incidentally, it was a fractured patella (into two halves) that got me the time to start the online degree. That proves good can come out of bad. Unfortunately, I have had two bouts with blood clots since the knee incident. I continued then to get my CNA and LPN which I wouldn't trade for any thing unless I physically cannot do it. I am too dedicated to let that happen. Y'all have a wonderful day. See ya' .
