Welll................... After looking for 6 months and putting almost 300 applications in (that is no exaggeration) I finally got a job in Reno for 3 12hr shifts!! Its only like 1hr 45min from me. Much better than traveling back to Bakersfield!!! Lol I am sooo excited though I actually start Monday. This hospital is the MOST amazing hospital you have ever seen. It has a hotel inside, the biggest Starbucks in the county inside and MY FAVORITE Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Shop INSIDE the hospital!! It is amazing. The funny thing was out of all those applications I got one interview and at the ONE interview they hired me out of 39 people!! If you are wondering what in the world is wrong with this place.... Northern Cal does not hire new grads unless you have worked for them previously as like an LVN or something! IT is crazy. There are new grads here that have been looking for a job for 1-2 years and still no luck!! I am totally blessed to get this job. So not to bore you anymore I'm done!! Definitely Keep in touch!! Miss you lots!!!!!
