I have heard so many times that nursing is a recession proof job. What bad advice that is. There is no such thing as a recession proof job....

About Me
I love my job. Can think of nothing else I would want to do.I was born and raised in Indiana. Lived in Indianapolis and Lebanon. Spent 2/3 of my life in Georgia. I am married. This is the second time around for both of us and we agree that we did it right this time. I had two children and both are deceased. My husband has two grown daughters and I have a nice relationship with them. One lives in Atlanta and one lives in San Francisco. Nursing is my 2nd career. I sold cash registers for many years. I then decided to go back to school at the age of 40. I loved going to school. I went for my LPN, then BSN, and last December finished with my MSN. I have certification for Psychiatric Mental Health and certification for addictions. Certified Addictions Registered Nurse aka CARN I taught nursing in Georgia and loved that. I would like to go back to teaching.
