  My niece-in-law (lol) is a nurse in the army and she's stationed in Hawaii. She just graduated with her BSN in December, she and my nephew got married in March, and they moved to Hawaii in June. So I have a little bit of connection to the military too!

  Hi there! Thank you for the invite and also for the brief history of your work experience! I am just returning to school (first semester) after quite a few years of raising a kiddo and working. I sometimes feel as if I am "floating around" waiting for my education to all fit together somehow! Thanks again & have a great evening! ;-)

  Hey there, I am in Dubai UAE right now. I have been here for almost three years now and I want to try my luck in another country. There is no progress in the field of nursing over here only the well to do and the medical professionals who have a higher pay can attend seminars and continuing education. Uhm enough about me, what about you? tell me something about you, I bet its always exciting working with the navy.

  Hi! I'm new here to Nursing Link...seems a lot like myspace and facebook, but for nurses, huh? I just recently graduated from a practical nursing program and am waiting to get my approval to test so that I can take my NCLEX! So I haven't started active nursing yet, but I'm looking forward to it! This is actually a second (third) career for me...I have a bachelor's degree in education and taught at public school for a few years, then when I started my family, I decided I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. I did that and homeschooled my kids...now my oldest is 25 and married, my middle son will be 22 in 3 weeks, and my youngest is 12 and in the 6th grade. So I decided that it was time for a new chapter in my life, so I went back to school for nursing! I eventually want to be an RN, but figured that going the LPN to RN route was the quickest way to get there, considering the backlog of students waiting to get into an RN program in our area. So, anyway, that's a short summary of my adventure into nursing!
