I did a clinical rotation at the VA here in Los Angeles for 6 months and I LOVED IT!! Something about working with a soilder, they are so resiliant. I had the honor of caring for some of the Iraq Vets and let me tell you, somedays I saw them and I wanted to cry, and they kept me going! They truly are heroes.

Hi there! Nice to meet you. I am excited to have you in my circle. I believe in networking because I've learned it not always what you know in this world, it's who you know! Congrats on becoming a Navy Nurse, I wanted to go to the Navy when I graduated High School, but I wasn't ready for the waking up at 5am to train. Now I can live vicariously through you... :)-

I really admire you for joining the Navy!! Just to let you know, I loved being in the Coast Guard and came really close to going back in after nursing school but took a job offer at Hopkins. I now get to work with MPH students Hopkins and love it! And yes, Maryland does offer many opportunities in research and public health!

Thanks for the friend invite. And thank you for taking care of the Marines and their families. My brother in law was a Marine at Camp Pendelton up until Desert Storm time. My in-laws live in Carlsbad and I used to live in Torrance so I would drive by Camp P a lot! Good luck making the change to Peds! I'm just starting my schooling but seeing what you and the others do will help me decide where I can be most helpful and happy. Take care :-)
