Personal

About Me
I graduated from Miami University's Hamilton Branch in 1984 with ADN. I have worked in many areas of nursing and also worked in England. I am trying to find a job at the present time. I am real close to accepting a position but making the decision is not an easy one. I have 3 areas that I have spent most time during my career involved with. OR, Dialysis, and Long term care. I am about to accept a position in med surg. - Maybe. - . Well, I accepted and before I could turn around got an offer to go back into dialysis. I hope to start there next week. In the meantime I am doing PRN as nurse supervisor in LTC. I don't know how long I will be able to keep both jobs but I want to try until I find out which is a better fit. I also just interviewed for another position in psych but it will be months before I get the job IF I am selected. So I have to just keep on keeping on. I am married and have grown married children and grandchildren. My only daughter is currently attending Ball State University as a Freshman where she is majoring in languages. She is doing Japanese, Chinese right now and loves it. She is adding Spanish next semester and hopes to teach one day. We have a class C motor home and love to travel in it and camp in State Parks and see the sites. We especially love camping with friends. I never feel like I have enough time to do the things I enjoy doing, hummmm can you imagine that? I wonder where I am on the stress scale right now with everything going on in my life. I am trying to sell a house right now and settle my family's estate. I have accepted and offer and hope to close by end of November. I am a volunteer chaplain and visit women in our local jail. I provide inspirational material and Bibles and spend time in prayer with them. It is very rewarding for me. I enjoy bicycling but have not done it for a year or longer. I like to cook but hate to clean up. I only like to cook when I have a lot of time to do it and I don't enjoy throwing stuff together in a hurry. At one time I sold Pampered Chef. I am not good a finding my way around web sites. I find the more I work at it, I learn but I do get frustrated when I can not find what I want to do. I will try to improve this as time goes by.
