I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo happy to be finished with that refresher course, I can't tell you!! Looking forward now to starting work in January, and getting that masters to boot.

Oy, I'm soooooooooooooooooo tired!! I've forgotten how much work is involved with (re)learning re: playing catch-up with the nursing field! It's ok, tho'! I'm really enjoying myself the 2nd time around. Plus, everyone else in the class is in the same boat, so we'll muddle thru' it together.

My 5 yr. plan: 1) Do my refresher course and pass! (currently in process of that; will update as things progress!!) 2) Get a PT job and work PT until my youngest child graduates from H.S. in 3 yrs. 3) Get my master's degree, and teach nursing education at either the diploma or associate degree level. 4) Continue working in both the clinical and educational fields. 5) Help to stop the "eat our young" mentality, and play whatever small part that I can to help my profession improve.
