Costs are higher for online classes, but on the other hand you don't the expenses of gas nor do you have to take time off for classes. The positive side is you can work full time, do your assignments when it is the best time for you. If you need the structure of a classroom, Online education is becoming more available and from accredited Universities, Hope this helos, if you want more info let me know, I am going to walden U for my Ed.D in higher education.

Thanks for adding me, Maryanna! Quick question......since you teach.....I'm wanting to go back for my BSN soon, but would really love the flexibility and freedom of an online program rather than in a classroom. Are there any drawbacks that you know of to doing it this way??
