I think it is s wise choice. I was able to work as an LPN while I was going to school as I was able to get a lot of the pre-reqs completed at a local 2 year college and transfer to a ladder program for a year to complete my ADN. Good Luck!

Congrats on the Dec pinning ceremony - mine was a very long time as a PN then in 73 my RN but I remember them both very fondly! Are the places that you did/or are finishing clinicals looking to hire - that's the initial place to look, also sign up with Monster. Good luck!

It's almost here!! Pinning Ceremony set for December 8th! Looking forward to actually going to work as an LVN, but having problems finding a job! Didn't think that would happen around here (Tyler, Texas). Going to continue on with Transition to RN next summer.
