About Me
Nursing Student at MTSU in TN. Graduate December 2009. Currently work part-time at Comcast as a CAE. Entering nursing as a "second career" (as if I really had a "first" one), 19 years after high school! Live with my fiance and our daughter in Nashville TN. Originally from Central PA, where I'd like to return, but the money situation down here is better. I miss my family but need to provide for my own where I am now. Interested in the O.R. but open to other possibilities. Thought I might like OB. Would love to be a CRNA but not sure when I could get to school for that (so, not sure if I want to jump right into the CCU). This first degree has me just about spent -- money-wise and otherwise! And we need less stress in my house, ASAP. I want to be "all I can be" but I also want to be around for my daughter - that time goes by too quickly. The best things about nursing, so far: the patients; the knowledge; the confidence I've gained; and the opportunity to help people feel any bit better in tough situations.
