It's funny that you mention the ER because that's my eventual destination. I volunteered at the local level 2 trauma center for 6 months while doing prereq's and I loved it.
Your right about the twisted sense of humor. Some of the nurses, knowing I was trying to get into nursing school, would ask me questions and do a little teaching. I was asked once, "Did you notice anything unusual about Mr. Johnson's urine?" (an etoh fall - and I wasn't supposed to know that) I replied, "Besides the olives floating in his foley bag, it looked a little pink."
That was the first night I was invited into the break room. :)

I feel a little like a jerk because I never got back to you about Peter. He's a wonderful person I was in contact with through facebook, although we didn't converse much.
I deleted many of those folks in the switch - had to, I already had regrets and wanted to start fresh.
Peter is a huge regret as is Elvish, Flightnurse (Ally) and Leslie. I miss them much and we would have share the same fate if not for a certian meat-a-ball who brings friends together.
Guido paid me back after I suggested you go back and get him, at least that's the story in cyberspace. :)
