Personal

About Me
I have been a nurse for over 3 years, before that, I was an active duty Air Force medic and got killer training that helped me through nursing school---and got killer assignments, too. I was stationed at Aviano AB, Italy for three years and before that, I was at Kirtland AFB, NM. I took the long route to get my BSN, I finished my ADN and worked on my RN to BSN while working in a trauma center. It was a great place to gain experience when I look back, but at the time, as a new RN, I really didn't know what the hell I was doing working in a trauma ICU. Now, I have moved to California from the midwest and work at UCSF in the Neuro ICU. I love learning new things and definitely do on my unit. I am also a flight nurse in the Air Force Reserves, although I still have alot of training to do to get fully qualified. I love my Air Force life the most and who knows-maybe I will go back to active duty someday:)
