Susan A. Leys ( the Founder and C.E.O. of Critical Success Strategies, LLC ) is a healthcare consultant, facilitator and executive coach with over 15 years of experience working in healthcare organizations including emergency departments, acute care units and inpatient and outpatient environments. She has consulted with Nurses, Physicians and healthcare leadership teams assisting them with developing the critical interpersonal and collaborative skills necessary to provide compassionate care throughout healthcare systems.
Susan holds a Masters degree and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Counseling Psychology from Springfield College and a Graduate Certificate in the Business of Medicine from Johns Hopkins University. Her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Legal Studies provided her with insight into the critical skills and insight necessary to navigate fast-paced, critical situations on a daily basis. She is a member of Psi Chi (the honors society for Psychology), the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and the American Academy for Experts in Traumatic Stress. Additionally, Susan is a Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Premier Speakers Bureau for the National Center for Crisis Management.
