I haven't started forensic nursing yet I just happen to know one that got me thinking about it. I'll most likely be doing that as a volunteer for the counseling center. There's only one forensics nurse in the county I grew up in. I just want to do my part to help. I'm hoping to start school in the fall I want to work the ER. My appointment with admissions is tomorrow. Hopefully it'll answer all the ques I have burning in my mind and they'll accept me.
It's funny you mentioned your husband being curious about it. While I was studying to get certified as a sex abuse counselor all of the local law enforcements were ordered to take a course on how to handle these cases. They were also advised never to ask the counselor what was discussed with the victim.
