My daughter moved out at 18 yrs. old. I really missed my "Gilmore Girl", so at 41 years old, I decided to have another one. My son is 19 months old. His father is from Africa. He is the sweetest little guy, so easy going and loves to kick his soccer ball.

    Ok...All you Nurses, who are currently working in the field. I need a opinion or advice.
    I want to get into school and start working as a Nurse ASAP. I have a Bachelor's and a Master's. When it comes to Medicine I have a photographic memory and learn quickly. However, when it comes to numbers as in Math I freeze up! I am currently looking for the right school. I am not sure to get into school for the ADN or just apply only to Post Accelerated BSN Programs? Now that you've gone to school and are working in the field: What Would You Do if you had to Do-Over? I love working in ER and Trauma Centers. I love the rush and fast pace.

    I have been in Medicine since the age of 18yrs. I started a Nursing Career and then swtiched to get a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and a Master's in Forensic Science. After all the studying, while working in the field of Forensics, I witnessed 100 cases of death on a monthly basis. (ie. Fatalities, Suicides, Gunshot, Hanging, Decapitations and Train wrecks). I decided to pursue the Holistic side of Medicine in regards to Prevention. I started studying Oriental Medicine - Acupuncture, Holistic Health Practitoner and Hypnotherapy. I really enjoyed this area of Medicine and I actually use both Western Model and Eastern Philosphies on a regular basis. Now I am interested in obtaining a RN License. My goal is to become a Travel Nurse and someday open my own Medical Center. First I'd like to scope out the area of where to do so.
