Your friend is right. Each state is different, but in California there are only a couple of things we can't do. Once of which is push meds in an IV. We can start the IV and we can hang normal saline etc. but not meds. We can give meds via any other route though. It is a good start if you can't go right to RN. The pay is about half of an RN, but it isn't bad money. :) I'm sure you would love it. Then when you are making money you can always go back to school if you want. I hope you have a great fourth of July!! :)
