About Me: Just a little bit out-spoken....ha ha....my friends can definitely attest to that! I try to keep an open-mind by allowing my kids to make their own mistakes and help them back onto their feet when they refused to heed the warnings. I love being outdoors. I'm a first-year LVN who couldn't quite find my place within the hospital environment. I've recently become employeed in Home Health which will allow me to be on the road. Since I loved doing CNA work in Home Health as a special attendant on-call 7 days a week and never having a day that I wasn't called, I can't imagine not tremendously enjoying doing Nursing there too. I enjoy fishing day or night. I love horseback riding and riding 4-wheelers in the woods. I like my car in the daytime and my truck at night. Life is too short not to enjoy it. I love a good challenge but also know when to call the in my back-up plan....hopefully I didn't forget to make one....if I forgot, then I just wing-it. I'm a single Mom. Been doing this alone for over 7 years and I won't complain about it at all. My kids have been a blessing, each one of the 4 of them in his or her own way. My #1 goal in life is to be the best Mother I can be to my children and hope someday they look back and claim I was the Mother to them that my own Mother was to me. I try my best to set a good example and never give up until all the cards are played. #2 goal is to be the best Nurse I can be and to touch my patients lives in a positive way everyday. One smile makes a huge difference in someones life, I hope all of mine count somewhere! My greatest fears? #1) Not knowing God's love. #2) Losing one of my children or grandchildren. #3) Losing my way (forgetting my purpose) and not knowing how to find myself again is a bit scarey too. My favorite colors? GREEN is good! All shades of green. Candy apple red is awesome too. My favorite food? Oysters on the half-shell. Rocky Mountain Oysters are good too....don't knock it til you try one. Okay, so I still love Hooters wings, Red-Lobsters Shrimp Feast, and Mexican food....sounds like I just like food, huh? I think the only thing a boiled egg belongs in is Easter Egg Dye....they are totally nasty in anything else...I do have to draw the line at some point in my eating habits. I love Sunday afternoon football games. But topping those games are the ones where my own 14yr old son is playing his high-school freshman games! I'm a Jimmy Johnson fan...love to watch him race.
