This vintage poster looks like it dates from World War I. This would fit well into any dining room/kitchen/living room. A great symbol of nurse pride!

Although the artistry is beautiful, I don't particularly care for this poster. From a sociological standpoint, it portrays nurses as The Madonna. This is part of the stigma we face today, as members of what is perceived as a pink-collar job. We are not Madonnas, we are not mothers to our patients. We are highly skilled, intelligent individuals with much more to offer than just a caring heart and a warm touch (although these qualities are also valuable).
