I am just got done taking the medication class and I am getting ready to take the state board to pass meds to the residents. I think that this book was so helpful for me to understand all of the different drugs that is out there.

Keeping yourself totally aware of what drug can be given with what food, other drug,or physical impairment is a what makes us good nurses. I keep mine with me at all times while on duty and have one at home for anything that should coe up at home. When I buy the new one for the year I give my old one to my son who is a medic with the USAF. They never really go out of date it is just the new drugs they add each year. A nurses must have.

This guide is all inclusive and very easy to use. I reach for mine all the time. My family depends on me having this drug guide when they have questions about their own medications and such. I wouldn't be caught without a copy. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten my new version yet, but I am anxiously awaiting it.

This is a must have...quick reference, easy to navigate, small enough to carry with on med passes. The back reference guides are invaluable as well.
