I used this as a reference when I was going through RN school, and I use it outside of school as well. It is the BEST ongoing reference I have ever had throughout my 11 years as an LPN and my 13 years in the medical field! My sister is an LPN also, and she loves her Taber's Dictionary. We refer to it as the Nursing Bible.

What did nurses use for a quick reference before Tabers?! I wouldn't be without one! It is the #1 Medical dictionary for me!

This is what they had Nursing Students buy in the bookstore and to this day I still have it. I have an updated version @ the moment you never know if you need the book, for spelling or for just the meaning of the word(s),it is just so handy to have!
