    Fortunately I don't have to experience this anymore. I hated being short staffed every weekend. It wears you out, and stresses you...I can't tell you how many times I'd get called to come in and cover, and even then we'd STILL be short! I could never say "no".

    Interesting article. I think most of us knew this already. Always short on weekends and then with call-outs too. Sometimes I wonder how we made it thru the weekends without more problems than we had.

    I agree. I work in a nursing home and on the weekends, we are never staffed properly.
