WASHINGTON -- Colin Powell, a Republican and retired general who was President Bush's first secretary of state, broke with the party Sunday and endorsed Democrat Barack Obama for president, calling him a "transformational figure" while critic
This is exactly why I admire Obama. He continually surprises us (in a good way), and repeatedly proves his opponents wrong with respect to their assumptions and lies. Yet, he always remains so dignified and respectable.
If this doesn't prove that Obama can "reach across party lines", the synics will never open their eyes! Thank God for Obama, Colin Powell, and Ms dmazement for adding some more pleasure to my day. ;-). This is fantastic!!!!!!!!!
Well now! That is really interesting. I think I saw someone post on another discussion they wished Colin Powell had run for president. I wonder if they support Obama now??????
