Canadian Press
November 07, 2008
MITCHELL, Ont. — There was a quite a surprise for police early today in the parking lot of the provincial police detachment in Mitchell, Ont., just west of Stratford.
A man was driving his pregnant wife to a hospital in Stratford just after 3 a.m., when the woman went into the final stages of labour. Her husband pulled into the provincial police parking lot and called for help from police and paramedics.
Perth County Paramedics and Perth County OPP assisted with the birth before taking the mother and her baby girl to hospital.
Both are doing fine.
The couple’s names and ages have not been released.

Well, on a positive note at least they're both doing well AND she wasn't in labor forever!
