Sperm Donor Wants DNA Test For Octuplets

LOS ANGELES — A former boyfriend of the woman who gave birth to octuplets last month says he could be the father of her 14 children, and he wants DNA tests.
Denis Beaudoin told ABC television Monday that he donated sperm to Nadya Suleman during their three-year relationship in the late ’90s because she claimed to have ovarian cancer and had to act quickly to have children.
Suleman has denied that Beaudoin is the father of the children, according to ABC.
Beaudoin still wants the test because he says he was misled about why she needed him to make three sperm donations “because she couldn’t have kids and, you know, it turned into this.”
All 14 of her children were conceived through in vitro fertilization, with sperm from an unidentified, platonic friend, the 33-year-old mother has said.
Single and unemployed, Suleman gave birth to the octuplets on Jan. 26. She already had six other children.
Beaudoin claims Suleman’s older children bear a resemblance to him.
ABC said Suleman denied Beaudoin was the donor she used to conceive her children, but when pressed she acknowledged he had donated sperm to her, but said he was unable to have children. Beaudoin said he has two children.
Regardless of whether DNA tests show he is the father, Beaudoin pledged to help Suleman, because “it’s hard nowadays to raise two kids, let alone 14 kids.”

Yes, it is very suspicious that he would want to genuinely be there to support her, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt. We will find out very soon if he is there to support her family or if he wants a bit of fame too. The whole thing is sad. The children will be the ones suffering when the drama goes away. I am not quite sure how someone can be so senseless and selfish.

Well she got her five minutes of fame now he's hoping for his I suppose.... maybe he wants custody? This whole situation is insane. This woman needs help... wonder if she'll try for more kids.

Ok, this guy is not normal. Most men would 'run for the hills'.........maybe try to move to the east coast if they even remotely thought they might me liable for child support for these kids. What about having to 'take the kids for the weekend'? He's is wanting money: Oprah, Dr. Phil.........whatever, plus the book like somebody mentioned.

what has happen to 'old fashion' way of getting married and having a family. Ok if you can't find that 'mr. right' and just want a sperm donor 'mr. right-now' than it should be some criteria for that...like being able to feed the kids w/o a lifetime of welfare. sure you may need help from the system while you are trying to accomplish a goal, i.e., school, change of career etc. but i guess having all of these babies was her goal and she achieved it...lol
ok it is not funny that she has had all of those babies and is not remotely financially stable...
she may need a psych eval.

God Bless that 'maybe' baby daddy...but he may have a motive..(BOOK DEAL)...because how many men do we see stepping up to claim 1-2 kids, needless to say 16...... WOW WEE!!!
