So I am back at again!  I graduated from Nursing School in May 09'.  Took my first test in June and then waited till September and failed again.  I have been totally down on myself since then.  Not sure where to turn from here.  I used the Saunders book and also used the Kaplan Strategies book.  I have been a CNA for almost 9 years and love nursing, but I am ready to get back into this studying thing so I can have a better career for myself.  Does anyone recommend any other book that really helped them other then Saunders & Kaplan Strategies? Also anyone in the VA-hampton roads area looking for a study buddy?

Dear Five0sgirlie,

I recommend Prentice Hall Comprehensive NCLEX-PN Review with Rationales and a CD-ROM. It has over 5,000 questions and answers, it is a excellent study and review source. You may try NCLEX-PN review sites for free downloads of test banks, I tried that before I took my boards, and it offered much success. Does your school have a review for repeat testtakers, you may want to look into that!  I took my school's 2-day review, studied Prentice Hall night and day until I thought I would scream, and reviewed material from my 2-day review ,too. Just don't give up, use Saunders and Kaplan too, but look for the Prentice Hall Review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Believe me, you can never have too many study aids when it comes to the NCLEX-PN. Don't be down on yourself, because the test is not passed by alot of graduating nurses, so don't be kicking yourself, it happens! I offer you a word of encouragement, Keep on keeping on, and GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
