What is the most hardest part of being a nurse? And what do you like most about it?

the hardest part is watching people suffer and die. the best part is helping others and making a difference in someone's life.

The hardest part is maintaining professional distance enought o make accurate and logical decisions to benefit the patient and still maintaining your compassion and bedside manner. The best part is and I agree with Charlita making a difference in the lofe of one person at a time and knowing it meant something.

Hardest part of patient care is, that while the patient’s family is present, fighting for a person's life with all the skills, medications and tools available knowing that the person is going die. Best part of patient care is watching a patient walk out of the hospital and back to being a productive person in society.
