I really belive that people who are like this is in it for the  money! They are not really there for the patients!!! Because a true nurse or paramedic is patinent and caring!!!!! you must remember that we are here for those who can not take care of them self!!!

I've been a CNA  for about 7yrs, i am also a Nursing student and i've had my share of seeing CNA's that are rude, disrespectful and darn right unpleasent. I've come to the conclusion that there are alot of CNA'S that are in it for the money, they don't take into account that our profession relies on us to be there for the patient not only physicaly but emotionally. If being a caregiver and i use that word strongly ,is not for you then don't be a CNA.

On the other hand i've seen alot of CNA 's become burned out after years, lets not kid ourselves. Some  work environments don't foster support and commrodary and that creates  a don't care attitude in CNA's.They forget why they choose this career in the first place. Then there are some who just are'nt people oriented at all.

Before i was a CNA i  was a customer service manager for a resturant . I always believed in people first ,in this case the patients and the CNA's. As CNA's we have to take the mental approach of if you think your having a crapy time look at the person your helping who's lost their independance. What i think is missing from some CNAs' is empathy.
