How do you get credit for your previous work as a LPN, now that you are a BSN RN 12 years later?

What type of credit are you thinking? If I understand your question correctly, the answer may be based soley on what that employer is looking for and what that employer specifically chooses to accept as previous work experience criteria for hiring you. I don't know of too many employers who accept an RN's clinical experience relative to to their LPN background and experience???? Hope this helps.

As a DON I would have hired you immediately.  Not only are you an experienced nurse, but now that you have gone onto school, you have learned all of the newest technology and medical updates.  Can't get much better than that...I really don't see you having any dificulty getting a job.  Best of luck!
